Research aim and objectives
Modeling and Real-time Simulation of Soft Tissue Deformations via XFEM
Biography
Born in Sanandaj, Kurdistan, Iran in 1991. BSc graduated in Fluid Mechanics in 2013 and MSc graduated in Applied Mechanics in 2015, both from Urmia University. Diyako's master thesis was about the study of fracture behavior of moving silica glasses under transient temperature variations arising from heterogeneous surrounding fluid, using extended finite element method (XFEM). The project has been coded in MATLAB. Recently, he has been admitted to the PhD program at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) as an exceptional talent. He works on XFEM implementation for modeling soft tissue deformations in surgical cutting.
