Born in China in May 16, 1990, Chensen joined Prof. Stéphane Bordas’ Legato team in the University of Luxembourg in December 2018 as a postdoc. Previouly, from 2011.9 to 2018.6, he spent his Master and Ph.D. career in the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Design and Manufacturing for Vehicle Body, Hunan University supervised by Prof. Guanyao Li and Prof. Xiangyang Cui, focusing on Fast CAD/CAE integration reanalysis and uncertainties. During that time, from 2016.10 to 2018.1, he spent 15 months as a joint Ph.D. student in University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, US supervised by Prof. Kumar K. Tamma, researching on model order reduction, heat transfer and uncertainties; and two years in Peking University from 2013.9 to 2015.9, as a joint Master focusing on CAD and adaptive refinement. Before which, he spent four years to get the Bachelor degree from Hunan University major in automobile engingeering .
