Biography
Marco Brino is working as post-doc researcher at Politecnico di Torino in the Virtual Product Development team, under the supervision of Prof. Stefano Tornincasa and Dr. Elvio Bonisoli.
He obtained his PhD degree in Production Systems and Industrial Design at Politecnico di Torino in January 2015, his MSc in Mechanical Engineering (2011) and BSc in Mechanical Engineering (2008) also in Politecnico di Torino.
He joined the research team directed by Prof. Bordas in Cardiff as visiting PhD student in the period June-September 2013.
His research topics are the developments of tools and methods for CAD-CAE integration (Iso-Geometric Analysis in particular), Functional Modelling of Machines with focus on the idea-to-product workflow (and GD&T in product specification), Structural Dynamics verification on both numerical and experimental point of view, with EMA-FEA correlation and model updating.
