Biography

Education:

  • 2004 – BSc in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, Saint-Petersburg State University, Russia
  • 2006 – MSc in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, Saint-Petersburg State University, Russia
  • 2010 – PhD in Civil Engineering, University of Waterloo, ON, Canada

Research Interests:

The area of my research interests is Applied Mathematics and Solid Mechanics, with particular focus on fracture mechanics of heterogeneous materials. The main research directions are:
  • Analytical and numerical methods for generalized continuum models
  • Development of the advanced discretization schemes for the boundary element methods
  • BEM-crack growth modeling in classical and Cosserat elasticity
